In the continually developing story of looming scandal involving the Obama White House and the Justice Department, new information contained in what is being described as 'smoking gun emails' appears to confirm suspicions of corruption at the DOJ.
The previously hidden emails refer to the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case that was suddenly and mysteriously dropped by Attorney-General Eric Holder at the Justice Department.
According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review via Judicial Watch (H/t to Instapundit and View from the Porch),
The e-mails show two political appointees' involvement in Justice's decision to dismiss, the watchdog group says. And, it notes, those e-mails contradict what Thomas Perez, assistant attorney general for Justice's Civil Rights Division, told the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights under oath: that decision involved "only career people."
The e-mails lend additional credence to the long-held suspicion that politics drove Justice's decision-making in this case. They also go a long way toward answering a key question: What is Attorney General Eric Holder hiding with his stonewalling against the commission's investigation?
The Tribune-Review goes further to report that not only has Holder been stonewalling a U.S. Commission on Civil Rights investigation into the scandal but that Obama Administration officials are involved in an attempt to cover-up the corruption--the very issue that led to the downfall of the Nixon White House in 1974.
In addition, Big Government obtained official documents released by Judicial Watch that expose not only corruption at the DOJ but abject racism and the direct involvement of the Obama White House in a coordinated cover up the scandal.
This means that Administration officials who provided testimony lied to the Commission under oath about their knowledge of the problems within the DOJ. There is even conclusive evidence that an Administration official altered documents provided to the court.
Given this explosive new information, Tom Fitton at Big Government concludes,
"These documents show that not only was the New Black Panther Party decision shamelessly politicized by the Obama administration but also that Obama officials lied to cover up the scandal. These documents raise more questions about Attorney General Holder’s involvement as well."
Remember the modern-day 'Deep Throat' who has been feeding insider information to a journalist who goes by the name of 'Ulsterman?'
Today's stunning disclosures in the media confirm at least part of what Deep Throat contends will be a series of scandals that will rock the Obama White House very shortly.

I went to the Restoring Honor Rally on 8/28 in D.C. with anxious anticipation of getting to personally meet some New Black Panthers but, unfortunately, they didn't show up. :-(

Had you a valid point, you would have actually addressed the particulars of this case, rather than engaging in flippancy.
Intimidating people from exercising their constitutional voting rights on election day is most assuredly NOT a 'non-issue' and it was NOT 'made up' by someone with a 'political agenda'.
The video of the NBPP Thugs using batons as they stand there in imposing black attire and combat boots is clear proof that they did indeed expressly intend to deny voters their rights.
Some of those present and denied entry through the NBPP Thugs intimidation tactics were people who actually marched with Dr. King during the 60's and so KNOW what felonious Voter Intimidation really looks like.
The video and verifiable eyewitness accounts are why this issue has not, is not, and will not 'go away'.
Were this a case of white Thugs from the Aryan Brotherhood, or Asian Thugs from some Triad Gang doing the same thing, you and other Obama worshipers would be going wild for both Houses of Congress to immediately begin criminal investigations of such events and tactics.
However, since the Thugs were black, members of a radical left wing racist black organization, and both the AG and President are black, your response is more than predictable: "Why there's no problem here folks, move along and go about your business."
Americans of ALL colors, those who actually believe in Freedom, the Constitution, and Constitutional Rights for ALL Americans, are now clued in to the felonious and racist nature of the Obama Administration...and we're fighting back using those Constitutional Rights!

This is major stuff. It is a felony to commit voter intimidation. The New Black Panthers were tried in a court of law for their crimes. But Holder dropped it as soon as Obama took office. It is also a felony to lie under oath, which the documents and emails here indicate Obama officials have done.

Now if you want a real issue that effects all Americans that has gotten zero attention on any Main Steam Media news network, you would have to look no further than proposed bill HR 3808, which is the Interstate Recognition of Notarization Act of 2010, in which congress wants to retroactively legalize all of the mortgage title fraud perpetuated by the banks. A bill by the way that the president vetoed because of it's blatant disregard for the rule of law and 200 years of American's property rights. But tomorrow the congress plans to override the presidential veto and vote this bill into law, out of the spot light , because the media has idiots pushing b.s. conjured up "events' that will fade away until they need another controversy.

This was an issue when it happened under the Bush administration. Why was it not handled then? Why did this video that was on the internet the day it happened not show up on anyone's radar then? Why do I never hear anything about the failure of the Bush administration and their failure with this issue?
Nice try at diversion, but you fail miserably. It was reported when it happened--in November of 2008 as Bush was on his way OUT of office, or is that too hard for you to understand? And it was the Bush Administration that first pursued the case at the DOJ, only to have it dropped dead cold once Obama and Holder got in. Try to keep up with the facts.

Bailey, your argument falls apart the instant someone finds out that not a SINGLE VOTER filed a complaint or claimed they were intimidated.
Perhaps YOU are too afraid to crawl out of your bunker and vote because a couple of THOSE PEOPLE are standing on the sidewalk - but the overwhelmingly black voters of that precinct seem to have more courage than you - something close to 80 percent of registered voters voted in that election.
