Yesterday was a really big day in Minnesota's 4th Congressional District race. Since the League of Women Voters debate last week, Congresswoman Betty McCollum is beginning to be exposed for the left-wing radical she truly is. There have been emails and Twitter posts popping up all over about her. The video of her purposefully omitting "Under God" while she led the Pledge of Allegiance on the floor of Congress is once again making big news across the Internet and talk radio.
Locally, her preposterous statements about Al Quaeda being "down to 100 people" and "no longer posing a threat to the United States" are turning heads across the district. I attended the debate and can tell you firsthand that the room was aghast when she said this. Within the first 30 seconds of her opening statement, it became clear to me why Betty has avoided debates as much as possible. She could not articulate an argument and struggled at times to even properly finish her sentences. She surely did not come across as "Congressional" in any way.

Typical right wing rhetoric. Just because Betty doesn't say 'under god' you think she's unfit to serve in political office. Last I checked aetheists are citizens too.
Congresswoman McCollum has led the Pledge of Allegiance on the House floor several times before. Check out http://mccollum.house.gov/pledge. It’s all there.
I don't know who you think you are, "Bill". Just because people like Betty and me have no common sense and no convictions other than those which help to keep us employed by "the man" doesn't mean we're second-class citizens.
Just so you know. Here is a response from another Twin Cities blog regarding what MN04 just posted. In Betty’s press release, all she did was point out that if you disagree with her, than you are an extremist and radical.
