White Denim + Royal Bangs - Empire Automotive - 730pm - $22
White Denim's James Petrali can wail with the best of them and his band wails too. Formely a power trio, the band added guitarist, Austin Jenkins and got even better. Examiner covered the progessive rock act at Wild Frontier Fest before Emo's shuttered it's Sixth Street location at the end of the year. The show was the best performance we saw the the festival that day. NYE attendees can expect more of the same from this popular local and. Dress for the outdoors for this one as Empire Automotive is the lot across from Red 7 with the partially enclosed former garage.
