Anthony Obi Ogbo is Managing Editor of International Guardian and has 30 years experience in the print media. He is the former President of the Houston Association of Black Journalists (HABJ) and its longest serving executive board member. Ogbo was born in Kaduna, Nigeria in 1961. He came to the United States as a delegate for the United Nations workshop in New York, and accepted a position as a foreign correspondent for Prime People. In 1991, he settled in Houston as an independent cartoonist. In 1995, he joined the Houston Sun as a production director. He also worked with the Houston Chronicle as a graphic designer through the Houston Creative Concept. With a degree in Fine & Applied Arts, Ogbo holds a master's degree in management, and human resources management from the University of Phoenix, AZ.
