Just what is prophecy - and what is its genesis? You might not know it, but the chronological story of Scripture is filled with great revelation, even from its first verses. Predictive promises that spell out the ultimate hope of all of humanity. Answering the questions that lie in the depths of the soul of man: why am I here; what should I be doing with my life; and, what will happen when my life ends?
Beginning in the third chapter of Genesis, God reveals His plan for redeeming a people for Himself, to provide the solution to the greatest problem sinful man faces - offering a way of return to anyone who would come through the legally established protocol; accepting as a substitutionary payment, the blood sacrifice of Christ - relinquishing self-control and chasing hard after God in adulation, by way of His only begotten Son:
“ ' Genesis 3:14-15 So the LORD God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall crush your head, and you shall bruise His heel." '
In this cursing of Satan, the Lord declares the culmination of all things; time, space and matter, and the endpoint of finite time – dividing paradise in the eternal kingdom of God from everlasting castigation and separation from the Father and His mercy and grace in utter darkness. The progeny of them that would choose a son-ship in the family of rebellion and the heirs to the kingdom through the Seed of woman. Here in the third chapter of the first book of the Bible we have a promise of the first Christmas … four thousand years in the future.
Just as the Bible tends to reveal Veritas – or absolute Truth - in a certain pattern; first by simple, shadowy statement as with the 'Seed of woman', then through a glass darkly with sketchy, mysterious detail, then in final, glorious fulfillment … so, too, do we see a second witness to this promise – our 'glass darkly' - in the book of the prophet Isaiah:
“ ' Isaiah 7:14 "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. ' “
“ ' Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. ' “
Then, one predetermined day – in accordance with the glory of His own predictions through His messengers, the God of all creation stepped into finite History clothed with the flesh of a Man, to live a sinless life of meekness and suffering - which would end with an excruciating death in the place of everyone who would receive His gift … the bruising of the heel of this Seed of woman. On that day, the Child of promise, the miraculous virgin birth, the only begotten Son of the Father was born and this prophecy was fulfilled … but, only partially. Though the Lord has defeated the serpent of old with His obedience to the Father, History has not yet witnessed the crushing of Satan's head – which can only be a matter of time … a time “which no man knows”, but that is fast approaching, getting closer with every tick-tock o' the clock.

The Kingdom is here and NOW.
If you've been told to wait for it, it wasn't from the mouth of a master...
x
I would agree that the kingdom is here right now in believers, but Jesus is not yet ruling from His throne as the bibles says He eventually will.
@xexon - I'm not sure what you mean by waiting?
You wait for Jesus. Jesus is dead. You wait for the rapture. But you don't understand what it is. You look for signs in the world of what is to come. As if that had anything to do with a spiritual path.
It ONLY concerns a religious path.
Christianity has confused what the Christ spirit is. It's not Jesus. Jesus was a container for it. For his era. The Christ spirit moves with each age and certain living people become the mouthpieces for it. They've always walked among you.
Not a book. A book is static and dead and has no power you yourself don't give it. Just like religion. It cannot stand alone without people giving of what they are to make it "go".
God is about perception, not belief.
And as you're ready to, you will each see God. Just as I do. It's a birthright of who and what you are and it belongs to no religion.

xexon for real man that sounds like that lord maitreya stuff, the budda, yoga, hindu, jewish, chirstian, muslim godman and the elders and the newage unity movement. is that what your talking about.
like from share international, or something like that. this lord maitreya who is the christ consciousness in all ages i think
It is the spiritual experiences of people that cause religions to be born around them. But religions do not carry a flame on the torch they attempt to pass to others. They are blind and cannot tell.
I've been a yogi most of my life. Non religious. Where others have invested in faith and belief, I invested in perception.
It opened the doors of what Christians call the Kingdom many years ago now.
I don't see any of them there.
Because...you can only enter that narrow gate when you are naked of all belief. The process itself is unlearning everything you think you know about God.
It's not until you get to the mountaintop that you're going to know what God "is". Until then, you are at the mercy of religious travel agents who like to talk of places they've never been to.

@ xexon I'm going to have to ask you to change your username to benjamin creme or lucis trust LOL you sound like your in a little deep. are you supposed to be one of the masters/handlers lord maitreya?
Jesus Christ is LORD. He is Immanuel - God with us; and He is not dead - for on the third day he rose again, in the flesh. He was seen by more than 500 witnesses, he was touched and spoken to and ate with His disciples; those who knew Him most intimately. He was no ghost or spirit, but God in the flesh. For His testimony, all of those disciples but John died a painful death, refusing to recant the Truth even under tremendous torture. John himself was persecuted, exiled, and imprisoned for a time even for this testimony. For three hundred years, under the Romans, Christians paid the ultimate price for their faith. They were burned alive, crucified, fed to lions, watched their children and babies murdered; and yet they overcame not through their own strength but through the strength of Christ who lived in them; come as the Holy Spirit to fulfill that which Jesus spoke, the other comforter sent by the Father that the laws of God might not be written on tablets of stone but on their very hearts.
In spite of the Satanic persecutions of men, Christianity continued to flourish; fulfilling what was spoken by Caiaphas the Chief Priest under whom Christ himself suffered: "If this thing be of God, no man can stand against it! ..."
