Sima Ballinger was raised in church as a young girl. She learned and taught Sunday School and Bible class where her father, the late Lessley Beard, Pastored in Detroit, Michigan - Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. As a mother and woman of God, Sima continuously enforces the word and the teachings of God to her children and family. She is a member of Family Victory Fellowship Church, where she has led many Workshops for Women Conferences. Sima was often requested to emcee "Volunteer Appreciation Programs." Over the years, you can find Sima's articles written in the "Connections Bulletin." She is a co-author of "Talitha Cumi: Damsel, I say unto thee, Arise." Sima is married to a wonderful man of God, Marvin Ballinger, and they have three children. Above all words, written or spoken, Sima believes that God's word is the most important of all.
