Valentines Day is about love. Love does not always mean hearts, roses, and cupids. There is the love of parents for children, the love of children for parents, the love between friends, the love of pets, and many other types of love. This list of books for children includes books involving many of those different types of love.
The old saying “Love makes the world go round” is true in my book and sharing a good book about love of any kind is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday of love, Valentine’s Day, or any other day of the year. Don’t put off showing the child in your life how much you love them. Children learn by example and will learn to love others by your love.
