Another domestic violence group gives Oksana Grigorieva the cold shoulder

Domestic  violence supports groups  want no part of Oksana Grigorieva and her (bogus) domestic violence claims against Mel Gibson.

The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence is the second  domestic violence support group this week to issue an official statement that Oksana is not connected with them in any way.    See   Oksana Rejected by Domestic Violence Group -  Her Story Doesn’t Ring True   

Earlier this week, one of Oksana’s attorneys, told  TMZ  that Oksana would be working in conjunction with  Peace Over Violence  and  The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence, two prominent domestic violence support groups, in an effort to help victims of domestic violence. 

The reports turned out to be false.  Oksana and her attorneys lied.        

Peace Over Violence Was the First to Disassociate Itself from Oksana    

Peace Over Violence adamantly stated that they’d never had any dealings  with Oksana or her attorneys.      

After Peace Over Violence sent out an official e-mail disassociating  itself from Oksana,  and calling the report completely false, Daniel Horowitz  offered  the excuse that  “. . . it didn’t get approved.”     

But Horowitz followed up with an equally false report about  another well-known, and highly respected domestic violence organization , stating:     

 “The California Partnership to End Domestic Violence is working on getting us alternative groups to work with.”

 Now this organization has been forced to distance itself from Oksana Grigorieva, too.

Official Statement from the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence     

Yesterday, following the lead of  Peace Over Violence, the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence (CPEDV) issued the following official statement, which is posted on their  website.   

Oskana Grigorieva is NOT a SPOKESPERSON FOR CPEDV

On 11/15/10 it was reported on the web site TMZ that Oksana Grigorieva, the ex-girlfriend of Mel Gibson who has brought domestic violence charges against him, was working with CPEDV and Peace Over Violence. The way the story was spun indicated that she might be a CPEDV spokesperson, or that we were going to ask her to fill that role. This is not the case. She is not affiliated with CPEDV or Peace Over Violence in any capacity. As a domestic violence coalition, CPEDV provides education, referrals for counseling or support groups and resources for anyone who may feel they are a victim of domestic violence. At no time was Ms. Grigorieva asked to be a spokesperson, and no role within CPEDV was ever identified for her.

Why Oksana is Being Shunned by Domestic Violence Support Groups

When two well-known, and highly respected domestic violence support groups go out of their way to disassociate themselves from Oksana Grigorieva, you have to ask yourself the question, “Why?”

With a high profile domestic violence case  like the one Oksana is trying to build against Mel Gibson,  one would expect these groups to be front and center, championing her cause.

Apart from the fact that Oksana’s story of Mel’s alleged assault changes each time she tells it, there are numerous holes in her story, and it just doesn’t ring true.

Moreover, most of the family practice attorneys Oksana retained have  withdrawn from her case, and deserted her like rats from a sinking ship.   See   Oksana is Toxic - Another Lawyer Quits at the Worst Possible Time.    Is it any wonder that legitimate domestic violence groups don’t want to be involved?

Questionable Evidence to Support Oksana’s Claims

Audio experts have verified that the (illegally made) tapes Oksana submitted of a ranting,  foul-mouthed Mel Gibson, have been  tampered with and /or edited.   

Photographic experts say the pictures of the broken veneers on Oksana’s two front  teeth have been doctored.  Even so, medical experts  say the photos are inconsistent with the type of injuries Oksana claims to have sustained.

Even during Domestic Violence Awareness Month (in October) not a single domestic violence or battered women’s support group  showed any interest in championing  Oksana’s cause.

Oksana Grigorieva’s Domestic Violence Claims against Mel Gibson Have No Merit

Peace Over Violence and the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence are reputable organizations who are serious about helping true victims of domestic violence.

If they thought Oksana’s domestic violence claims had any merit, no doubt  they’d be happy to come to her defense.

It sends a powerful message when  two well-respected  domestic violence organizations, who work with battered women on a daily basis, have serious doubts about  Oksana’s domestic violence claims.

Apparently these groups have done enough “homework” to see through Oksana’s ruse to promote herself and her agenda at their expense, and they’re not interested in playing Oksana’s game.
