Michael Jackson performs Billie Jean: videos span 25 years: Hot for AMA searchers

Sept 21, 2009 -  Just over 26 years ago, Michael Jackson introduced the Moon Walk, and the White Glove. Michael Jackson made music history when he introduced the moon walk in the Motown 25th Anniversary TV Special in 1983.

Today you can celebrate a bit of history by viewing several versions of the Billie Jean song performed by Michael Jackson during the past 25 years.  This song was a story formatted song giving boys the advice to be careful in acting on sexual impulses and the consequences that could happen.  There are also two other videos Smooth Criminall and Thriller to see how Michael Jackson advanced dance and music.

You can click on these to enlarge and view in full screen.  Corner button on the right hand bottom of video second from right will enlarge. use escape button to return to this screen. See my other MJ articles after viewing:

As I watch Michael nab 4 AMA Awards, and these amazing videos, especially Billie Jean on the 30th anniversary, I realize the world has lost the greatest entertainer ever. All the other entertainers on the AMAs tonight pale in comparison to Michael. God we miss you King of Pop - you will live for eternity in your revolutionary music and dancing. WE LOVE YOU

I so agree with you. The AMA Awards performers couldn't hold a candle to Michael Jackson. We miss him and are saddened by what happened. What an incredible artist and musician and he'll be so greatly missed! RIP Michael. Thank you!

Last night at the AMA's, all I saw was garbage...sorry. Yes, they were good singers, but the gimmicks - blah. Michael entertained, he OWNED the audience. The 30th anniversary is a great example. As soon as Michael stepped on that stage, he had the audience held in Michaelmania until the very last chord.

I totally agree. It's incredible how much better Michael was than the rest of performers. He had an amazing gift, he was an artist, then you realize that there are many performers but few artists. I hope those who don't value Michael stop and reflect, and benefit from his outstanding work. I don't even consider him "pop". He wa smore than that.
