One of the hardest working stand-up comedians takes the stage at the Alberta Bair Theater Sunday. Brian Regan has been touring for over two decades, and has gained acclaim from everyone from Comedy Central and the Wall Street Journal. He has been a staple of “Late Night with David Letterman” since 1995, and also made appearances on “Conan O’Brian”.
His observational and semi-clean wit helps appeal to a mass audience. Comedian and actor Patton Oswald calls Regan "the best stand-up comedian working today."
"Brian Regan's comedy stuns me,” observed Oswald in his blog. “It stuns me because he can start down the road with a premise that every comedian knows has not one scrap of flesh left on its bones, and find a new angle of attack that yields prime cuts of comedic meat."
The show starts at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20. Tickets are still available at the Alberta Bair theater and Ernie Novembers for $39.50 or online on the Alberta Bair website.
