Ask celeb trainer Gunnar Peterson what does a body good and he'll say 'silk milk'. Ask the Kardashian sisters, and they may pull out pictures of hot-body-after shots post-QuickTrim diet.
But ask Dancing with the Stars dancer Karina Smirnoff and she'll probably point to her feet.
The five-time U.S. National and World Trophy Champion and newly-single professional dancer is kicking off her dancing shoes (and all clothes for that matter) in her new PETA ad for the "I'd Rather..." campaign.
According to Karina Smirnoff, she'd "Rather Dance Naked Than Wear Fur".
The show-stopping, 31-year-old has spent six seasons in Dancing with the Stars, starring next to partners Mario Lopez (yes, they dated for a while), Billy Ray Cyrus, boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr., singer Mario, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and chef Rocco DiSpirito. Karina is currently dancing up with partner Aaron Carter.

But when she isn't dancing, the newly-single star gets fit off the floor with yoga and carido, mentioning her favorite workout of late is the GYROTONIC® system (shown left).
An exercise program created by Juliu Horvath, the GYROTONIC® exercise program brings in similar movements found in swimming, yoga, gymnastics, and tai chi. Utilizing special equipment to make the magic happen, another difference between commonly-compared Pilates and GYROTONIC® system is the 3-D, circular movements and use of yogic breathing (like the Ujjayi breath) to cleanse, detoxify and rejuvenate the whole body.
On top of good exercise, Karina is a fan of healthy eating. In an interview with UsWeekly magazine, the fancy-footed beauty noshes on tons of fruits and veggies to balance out her workout regime.
“If my day does not have a lot of physical activity, I eat a little less,” she said. In addition, she's not afraid to share a few good tips she picked up from her mom. "A tablespoon of olive oil on an empty stomach helps digestion," she adds, passing on the words of wisdom.
Karina felt the urge to strip for PETA after witnessing footage of baby seals being killed for their pelts.
“I did wear fur, especially when I was growing up in the Ukraine,” the dancing doll revealed in a one-on-one with PETA. “But there are ways of being warm and being fashionable without being cruel.”
Smirnoff joins a growing list of celebrities–including Christina Applegate, Sophie Monk, Khloe Kardashian, Nia Long, and Kimora Lee Simmons –who have starred in PETA’s anti-fur ad campaign.
