Link between homosexual adoption and human trafficking?

It's being reported by CNA that the Secretary of State for Family Policy in Italy, Carlo Giovanardi, stated in an interview this week that he believes there is a connection between adoption by same-sex couples and the increase in the human trafficking of minors.

In the interview with political analyst Klaus Davi, Giovanardi noted that “where the adoption by gay couples is allowed, such as in the U.S. and Brazil,” the countries have exploded with the “buying and selling of children.”

“It is something that at least this government will never accept and I want to denounce it from here.”

“To impose two parents of the same sex on a child is to subject that child to psychological violence,” Giovanardi continued. “A child has the right to grow up” in an environment where “a paternal and maternal figure complement each other and guarantee the child balanced development,” he added.

The world needs MORE LOVE. Enough said.

  • Does that include homosexuality? Polygamy? Incest? Why not homosexual polygamist incestuous relationships?

Hey... why not? Like you said, "The world needs MORE LOVE."

    Enough said.

Dude, WHERE did you get that nonsense from the sentence "The world needs more love." ? How utterly ridiculous. See if you can be a little more confrontational. I don't think you're trying hard enough. I guess you don't think the world needs more love. You think people who say the world needs more love should be confronted, apparently. Jesus said,"Love thy neighbor as you love yourself." Take it up with Him. And get a grip.

The comment says MORE LOVE. Not MORE SEX. No one criticized you. Why go so far off the deep end?

No, I'm simply using your own words. Now you're qualifying your statement? Enough said.

    Dude,
If the other Anonymous wants to make open-ended statements, them qualify them after the fact, then the other anonymous is simply going to have to deal with it.

Dude, for someone such as yourself coming down on me for being "confrontational", you're doing a pretty good job of it yourself, as well as a bit more than judgemental.

Dude, as far as what Christ said, yep... I do love others as myself. And I hold myself to a fairly high standard. Just like Jesus demands of us, not to the lowest common denominator. Know what I mean, dude?

Dude, I strongly suggest you come down off your pedastal. And get a grip. Dude.

    Enough said.... dude.

Wow, ridiculing someone for using the word dude is just incredibly childish. We can all see that is what you are doing, and it is a cheap way to present your argument. Is that how intelligent individuals with relevant points to make have a debate? I think not. You sound like you are in junior high. I for one will never read your column again Kevin. You love your neighbor as you love yourself? Yeah, right. Way to turn the other cheek.

" I for one will never read your column again Kevin."

And that's suppose to bother me... how? Excuse me while I shake your dust from my sandals.

This explains why so many Catholic Adoption agencies have closed. They refused to obey "laws" that would have required them to deal with same-gendered union "parents" adopting the children in their care.

Another denier of preistly pedophilia, I see.

  • Based on what.... simply your accusation? You're not too bright, are you?

Based on your deletion of my previous comment.

  • Deletion of your previous comment was based on your stupidity. You refered to a Catholic Archbishop as wanting to rape children.

Ummmm.... there was no Catholic Archbishop even mentioned in the article.

You can't even keep your own bigotry straight. Don't expect me to give you a platform.

looking at this guys other posts, he is no more than a tea party wanna be, 'I hate you so I am great" type of idiot. I am sure he is all about "love the sinner, hate the sin" and, "liberals hate me because I hate other people, so they are wrong" kind of crap. I feel sorry for him.

You go right ahead and feel sorry for me, Sugar Britches. Your opinion of me simply doesn't matter. But you keep on thinking it does... 'k?

Just keep in mind, I don't make you come to this site, you do it of your own free will. If you don't like reading the truth, that's your problem.

    Have a happy day!
