Moon Voices Share! Indigenous Mothering conference

WINNIPEG —  “Moon Voices Share! Indigenous Mothering: Creating a Place of Love for the Next Seven Generations” will take place on February 8, 2012 (6-8:30 p.m.) in the Bulman Centre at the University of Winnipeg. The event is free and open to all.

“Moon Voices Share! Indigenous Mothering" is intended as a sacred space where Indigenous women will have the opportunity to listen to the stories of other women, share their own, and think about the ways in which their roles as mothers, grandmothers, aunties, sisters and friends help shape their communities.

This event is organized by the Aboriginal Women Reclaiming Our Power Project (Moon Voices) of Ka Ni Kanichihk Inc. and the Institute for Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of Winnipeg.
