This Saturday night former heavyweight champion Samuel Peter will square off with Wladimir Klitschko in an attempt to wrestle away the Ukrainian’s IBF and WBO belts. This is the second time the two men will have met, as Peter dropped a unanimous decision to the lurking giant five years ago in Atlantic City despite scoring three knockdowns.
Peter’s career has been defined by his crippling power and limitations in his overall ability, as he has both electrified and underwhelmed on certain nights. His rematch with Klitschko is all about his search for redemption a professional while also attempting to show that he is still a major player in the heavyweight division.
