'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' DVD - additional scenes - Like many DVDs, the DVD for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, released today contains several additional scenes among its special features. These are scenes that were left out of the theatrical release of the film. A list of these deleted scenes appears below.  The film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint and is adapted from the novel by J. K. Rowling.  The additional scenes are:

• "Harry and Hermione Walk through the Halls of Hogwarts"
• "Harry and Hermione Discuss Marauder's Map"
• "Harry, Ron, and Hermione Discuss the Vanishing Cabinet"
• "Harry and Dumbledore Arrive at Cave Entrance"
• "Harry and Dumbledore Leave Cave"
• "Clouds Gather Over Hogwarts as Flitwick Conducts Choir"
• "Harry Joins Ron, Hermione and Ginny in Common Room"
• "Harry and Hermione Discuss Ron at the Astronomy Tower"

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is based on the sixth novel in the wizard series by J. K. Rowling.  the seventh novel will be adapted into two films:  Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I and Part II.
