Ann Almquist graduated from the University of Montana-Missoula with a bachelor's degree in English, with an emphasis in Creative Writing. Ann is an avid reader, with a particular interest in suspense thrillers, mysteries, apocolyptic literature, WWII fiction, and of course the Twilight Series. Ann is also a fan of Thomas Hardy and Jane Austen from classic literature. In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry and short stories, and has had some of her work published in school publications.
