Who:
Jessica Wilson, host of this event, earned her MFA from Otis College of Art and Design and her BA from UC Riverside. She is the founder of the SoapBox Poets who venture monthly to the Venice Beach boardwalk and recite their poetry. Learn more about Wilson and Soap Box Poets on Facebook.
Jack Cooper's first formal collection of poetry, Across My Silence, was published by World Audience Publishers, Inc., New York, NY 2007. His poem, “Transitory Endings,” published in The Georgetown Review, was nominated for a 2008 Pushcart Prize. Learn more about Cooper and his work at his official website.
Radomir Vojtech Luza was born in Vienna, Austria. The Boston Globe published one of his poems as have many anthologies, collections, websites, and literary journals such as Spare Change, Bent Pin Quarterly, Seldom Nocturne, New Laurel Review, Poetry Motel, and more. Mark Lipman is a writer, poet, multi-media artist and activist, who began his career as a professional ballet dancer. In 2002, he became writer in residence at the world famous Shakespeare and Company. He is co-founder of both the Berkeley Stop the War Coalition (USA) and Agir Contre la Guerre (France). Lipman’s latest collection of poetry titled A Stirring Underfoot, was published in 2011 by Caza de Poesia. Read more about Lipman on his blog.
