Shauna Leigh Atkinson has loved to read since she could stack books as a small child. A born book lover and now aspiring writer. Born and raised in Fresno, she is a California State University, Fresno graduate. Having studied and worked in civil engineering, her free time was spent reading, which inspired her to write. She took an advanced fiction writing course at CSUF, which inspired her to pursue a Creative Writing Certificate. On her last class to obtain the certificate, she is currently looking into MFA programs. An engineer turned writer.
