IFBB Pro Kris Murrell, also known as Big Sexy, made an official announcement on Twitter that her pro debut will be as a physique athlete.

Women’s physique (WPD) launched in 2011 and ignited in the fitness community. The popularity of WPD grew quickly, and offered female bodybuilders (FBB) and figure athletes an opportunity to crossover to a division more suitable for them.
From female bodybuilding to physique
Murell is known for her aesthetically, beautiful genetics and won her IFBB pro card at the 2009 NPC National Championships. She won the overall as a heavyweight athlete, which exemplifies a different build from WPD.
Murrell took the past two years off, and is redefining her image for the women's physique division. If she does not like the direction the WPD takes her she can cross back over to professional female bodybuilding.
IFBB Pro Grand Prix location
Murrell will debut her new look at the IFBB Pro Grand Prix- Los Angeles Men and Women's Physique Championships, April 14, 2012. The bodybuilding event is held at Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in Culver City, California.
