If your budget is tight and you need a quick, easy, cheap gift project, search no farther. This picture frame and mirror set was made with items purchased at Dollar Tree, who have 8 locations in the Grand Rapids area and all of them carry these (or very similar) supplies.
For this project you will need:
- A plain picture frame or mirror
- Flat glass stones (available in the craft supplies aisle)
- Mod Podge
- Scraps of colored paper or magazine clippings (optional)
The items shown in this tutorial have been donated to a silent auction to raise money for the family of Scottville resident Julie Miller, who recently lost her life in a tragic car accident. I am hoping that this low-cost, high-impact project fetches a nice price!
This project would also make a great gift for teenagers, and is easy enough that kids can help make them.
