Zev and Justin would definitely run again – just not right now, 'Amazing Race'

Justin Kanew says he and his “Amazing Race: Unfinished Business” partner, Zev Glassenberg, would definitely run the race a third time … just not right now, according to Zev.

“We’ll get on a plane right now. We would definitely do it again. Absolutely; we’re ready,” Justin said in an interview Monday, one day after the team was shown finishing fourth in the five continent-23 city race.

And while the race is over, there is plenty of travel in Zev’s and Justin’s futures, albeit probably at a much slower pace. The team won three trips during their time on the season – a trip to Cancun, Mexico, a trip to Costa Rica, and a trip to Curacao. (The players also each won a 2012 Ford Focus.)

“I would say the safe bet is we’ll take at least one together … if Zev will have me,” Justin said.

The best friends were first featured on season 15, when they placed ninth after a passport mix up in Phnom Penh.

More from my interview with Zev Glassenberg and Justin Kanew:

The Amazing Race Examiner: How did it feel watching the finale last night?

Justin: “It was tough. It was tough to watch Zev go through the Samba thing … but we were watching it with all the other racers in a great situation, so it was a really nice way to end it.”

What, if anything, do you wish you had done differently during the final leg?

Zev: “Yeah, I wish I knew how to dance.”

Justin: “The Samba, the Samba really got us pretty good there, which was sad because Zev is an expert at all other forms of dance.” – to which Zev said, “Yeah, right.” Zev joked that if it had been Disco, he would’ve nailed it.

Other than the locations, what was different about this race compared to your first race?

Justin: “This was a tough one. The challenges are the challenges, and I’m not sure that the challenges were necessarily more difficult, but the course, I would say, was more difficult.”
