Remember when churches used to have "Sunday School" buses that picked up your children and gave them Bible lessons on their way to church?
Now, thanks to the Southern California Young Communist League (YCL), a branch of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA), little red school buses may be coming to your neighborhood.
But they won't be teaching your children Bible lessons, or courses in American history that highlight the freedom we have and those who died to protect it.
They'll be teaching your children the wonders of communism and socialism.
According to an article at The Blaze, the "National Red School-Bus Tour" will make stops in Los Angeles, Texas, Florida, and the Northeast between February and April.
A blog post at P/Oed Patriot says the tour will include:
lively classes and discussions: Marxism and the Political Moment: Building the movement for change; The Crisis of Capitalism Today: Causes of Crisis and the Class Struggle; Working Class and the Labor Movement; Racism, Immigrant Rights, women’s rights, LGTB rights and the struggle for equality; The CPUSA and YCL, envisioning Bill of Rights Socialism and how to get there. Also plenty of cultural, social and recreational activities
The groups motto? "Unite and Fight" in order to Bring around 'Socialism'."
The "enemy", naturally, is the "political class and capitalism":
"The enemy is not unions, it is not immigrants, nor any other scapegoat. It’s the corporations and banks that close factories, cut wages and benefits, and force people, especially youth, to work for minimum and sub-minimum wages or join the military in order to get an education or an income."
The enemy is not overseas. It is not the people of Iraq, Cuba, Venezuela, or China. The enemy is the ruling class right here at home."
According to the Young Communists website:
Our ideology is Marxist-Leninist. We believe and work for socialism, but only as a means to achieving a true, equal and workers-run classless society. This fundamental understanding guides and shapes our entire work. It’s a long shot but if we are granted the luxury of talking ideology, that’s what it is.
The history of Communism is littered with the bodies of millions who refused to submit.
And how does the group expect to enact communism in the United States? They explain on their website:
We do not believe in violence simply as a means to an end. However, we support all forms of revolution, which historically have included violent forms but only were they successful or lasting and positive when the circumstances had called for it, when the assessment was correct (under fascism, extremely repressive and life-threatening conditions are set in place and creates justifiable responses) and ultimately if the end result is the achievement of a democratic, just society. That being said, peaceful forms are the most ideal conditions for any revolution.
Reading this, one gets the impression the Young Communists would be okay with violence if they thought they could win.
Calls for violent revolution are not new among those who support Marxism, however.
Liberal cartoonist Ted Rall and MSNBC host Dylan Ratigan spoke openly of revolution to achieve a leftist utopia, and a Socialist conference called for "cracking open" the heads of those in the Tea Party.
The Communists are coming to your neighborhood - and they want your children.

That's an interesting bus. It'd be more interesting to see the response.
I wonder is one of the lessons will include how to be a great dictator? Or maybe a lesson on how to kill all who oppose you. Maybe they are trying to mold the next great mass murderer since Tung who turned China into a communistic state.
Got something to say?
