It's almost time to find out what's coming up after that big ending to season 4, and on Thursday, Sept. 5, USA Network released a sneak peek of "White Collar" season 5 that teases how Neal (Matt Bomer) is going to get Peter (Tim DeKay) out of a really bad situation.
As "White Collar" season 4 ended, Peter was left standing over Senator Pratt's (Titus Welliver) body and holding the gun after Sam (Treat Williams) made his escape—and refused to help clear his name when Peter was arrested. So how will they free Peter when there's no evidence to prove what he has to say is true?
The new video to the left begins with the end of last season before launching into new "White Collar" season 5 footage. Peter is locked up, and it's not looking good without a confession from Neal's father—which isn't going to happen. "This is my fault," Neal says. Elizabeth tells him to do whatever he has to, and so he turns to Mark Sheppard's Curtis Hagen ("The Dutchman") to help Peter, but what will he want in return? "This is the only option that doesn't have Peter on the run," Neal explains. At least Neal no longer has to worry about his anklet, thanks to Mozzie (Willie Garson). "Impossible is what Neal Caffrey specializes in," and that's exactly what they're going to need.
"White Collar" season 5 premieres Thursday, Oct. 17 at 9 p.m. on USA Network. What do you think of this sneak peek? What are you hoping to see this fall?
