Westboro Baptist Church: NASCAR racing 'f** car'

The Westboro Baptist Church is now accusing NASCAR of racing “f*g cars.” Margie Phelps, the daughter of the Westboro Baptist Church's founder Fred Phelps and spokesperson for the church, used Twitter announce on March 5 they believe that NASCAR is racing fag cars.

“...[L]ooks like we scheduled @NASCAR @kewelowski picket just in time [sic],” Margie Phelps tweeted. “New sign: NASCAR FAGS. Catchy, no?”

It is unknown why Margie Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church believes that Brad Keselowski is racing a car that promotes homosexuality or gay marriage. In a link provided by Margie Phelps, it shows the “It's Miller Time” logo on Brad Keselowski's car. Of course, with the Westboro Baptist Church, the conclusions they jump to are often not the same as what others would.

“Next they'll have a splashy fag wedding,” Margie Phelps tweeted. "Who knew @NASCAR race car was a fag car [sic]"

“I don't get it,” Stephanie Gordon, a NASCAR fan from The Village, said. “Miller Lite and gay marriage. I've heard 'light in the loafers,' but this is a bit strange, even for the WBC. I haven't heard anything about Miller Lite promoting anything regarding someone's sexuality.”

Whether or not picketing NASCAR due to Miller Lite logo makes sense, the Westboro Baptist Church is making plans for the protest. At the time of publication, it was unknown which race the Westboro Baptist Church is planning to picket. Whichever race it may be, NASCAR fans are sure to turn out in full force and stage their own form of counter protest.
