Watch WWE Halftime Heat The Rock vs. Mankind in a WWE Championship Match

With all of America gathered around their TV's for the Super Bowl tonight, their may be some sports fans who will be tuning out for the halftime show featuring pop icon Madonna in a million-dollar performance. If this Examiner knows Wrestling fans, they are likely not Madonna's demographic. So Pro Wrestling Examiner felt the need to step in and 'man up' this situation with a classic wrestling-related halftime show alternative for you: Halftime Heat

Let's flash back to 1999 when the WWE pulled a brilliant programming stunt when they aired their then regular Heat program as a special during the halftime of that year's Super Bowl. In an Empty Arena Hardcore Match between the Corporate Champion , The Rock against the demented and lovable Mankind (Mick Foley) for the WWE Championship. It was a very unique match in a rare setting with the two rivals battling out all over an empty arena with WWE boss Vince McMahon making an odd return to commentary.  The finnish to this match is easily one of the weirdest ways to pin an opponent. You can watch this match in the video posted on the left.
