The game deals at retailers are thin once again for the week of Sunday, May 25, so that means combining the offerings from Best Buy, Target and Toys R Us into a single post. Still, there are some decent combo deals that will be available with the release of “Watch Dogs” to the PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 plus “Mario Kart 8” to the Wii U.

Best Buy is running three different combo deals with “Watch Dogs” for the game’s release on Tuesday, May 27. The first offers $20 off the following games when “Watch Dogs” is purchased – “NBA 2K14,” “inFamous: Second Son,” “Grand Theft Auto V,” “Dark Souls 2,” “Drakgengard 3,” “NBA2K14” and “Killzone: Shadow Fall.”

The second combo offering knocks $10 off the price of a 12-month PS Plus subscription with the purchase of “Watch Dogs” for the PS4 or PS3. That brings the premium membership down to $39.99.

The third combo offering for “Watch Dogs” is a bit of marketing ingenuity. Purchasing the game along with a new smartphone with a 2-year agreement gives a $50 gift card.

Other notable deals at the retailer include a $10 gas credit with “Mario Kart 8” pre-orders and $10 off “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” There’s also a Memorial Day Sale that will wrap up on Monday that has several older titles for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS and PS Vita on sale.

Meanwhile, Target’s deal selections for the week are almost exclusively tied to “Watch Dogs” and “Mario Kart 8.” Purchasing “Watch Dogs” with a 12-month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription or PS Plus subscription will discount the total purchase by $25. Those that pick up “Mario Kart 8” will get a free Wii U steering wheel.

Lastly, the Toys R Us deals with “Watch Dogs” and “Mario Kart 8” is a little more straight forward. Purchasing “Watch Dogs” for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One or Xbox 360 also gives 40 percent off any other game for those systems. “Mario Kart 8” has the exact same deal but for Wii U titles.

Free shipping and in-store pickup is available from all three retailers. Sales tax is applicable, however. "Watch Dogs" will be available Tuesday, May 27 while "Mario Kart 8" will be released Friday, May 30.
