Voters should be aware that ACORN has not disappeared (Photos)

After Andrew Breitbart and his investigative journalists exposed the leftist Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) for voter registration and related vote fraud scandals, they lost funding from Congress. Many seem to think ACORN is gone and has disappeared. Not so fast. These people don't give up, and the hard left and all their progressive allies and their willing accomplices in the mainstream media know the 2012 election is the most important most of us will see in our lives.

Many of the old activists, and offices, and leaders who formerly made up ACORN are alive and well. We can count on them to be up their old tricks this year, getting many counties over 100 percent of qualified voters registered and finding enough rent-a-mobs to cast votes for those unqualified registrants in any states where they don't have to show a photo ID to vote. This is precisely why the Democrats so stridently oppose voter ID laws and President Obama's Attorney General, Eric Holder is suing several states to either not require voters show an ID or to stop then from purging ineligible voters from the rolls. Democrats seem to think they can not win this election honestly so they are wanting to engage in vote fraud to help Obama on election day.

Another invitation to fraud is the states that allow same-day voter registration and voting on election day. This allows organized groups to bus in voters from other areas or states to register and vote on election day. This was allegedly was done by labor unions on the day of the recall election in Wisconsin. A caller to a radio show claimed he was a Michigan resident who was one of thousands bused into Wisconsin to register and vote, and was expected to vote for Tom Barrett, the Democrat who ran against Scott Walker in the recall. Analysis of the Democrat-leaning counties that shared a border with other states showed a 2-4 percent higher vote for Barrett in the recall than he received in the 2010 election where he lost to Walker. Yet in almost all other counties, Walker improved his vote percentage by 2 or more percent over his support in the 2010 election. I suspect those neighboring counties had turnout bolstered by out of state voters being bused in by the unions.

The best way individual voters can stop vote fraud is to simply vote. If you cast your own vote, than it's that much more difficult for the vote-scammers to illegally cast your vote for you. Making sure you vote also means you help decide the election rather than let others decide it for you. The remnants of ACORN and their allies will be counting on you to stay home on election day, and they might just cast your vote for you.
