Volunteers throughout the nation are joining together for the fourth year this Memorial Day to honor the nation's fallen heroes by placing roses on graves at Arlington National Cemetery and cemeteries around the country. The Memorial Day Flowers Foundation, a charitable organization created by a Ramiro Penaherrera and Kevin Clifford, are leading this touching tribute.

"The supreme sacrifice our military and their families make for us could never be repaid," said Ramiro Penaherrera, Co-founder of Memorial Day Flowers. "On this one day, we want to tell the families of these heroes that the loss of their loved one was not in vain." He added, "We want to honor those who willingly gave their lives for us."

Kevin Clifford, Co-founder of Memorial Day Flowers said, "I feel incredibly privileged to be part of a program honoring our servicemen and women, as well as their families in a small but meaningful way." He added, "We need to bring attention to the lack of recognition of those who have served and raise awareness of some of the challenges they face."
