The friendly skies just got a little more famous on Wednesday. One of the Olympic partners in the United States, United Airlines, just released a new 60-second commercial highlighting the 2014 Sochi Olympic athletes going to Russia to compete and the fans will be impressed on how many athletes are part of the commercial. According to the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday fans got to see the first of three commercials will air during NBC's broadcast of the 2014 Olympics Opening Ceremony. The sneak peek had Olympic fans checking out what athletes were part of the commercial.
Gracie Gold, Shani Davis, Sarah Hendrickson, Erin Hamlin, Ralph Green, Dallas Roberts, Allison Jones, Steve Langton and even Nick Cunningham are seen in the commercial. If the voice of the ads sounds familiar, it is because viewers are hearing the famous actor Matt Damon.
United Airlines is the official airline of Team USA and has been part of the Olympic dream for the past 34 years. The airline has been flying U.S. athletes to training events, competitions, U.S. Olympic Team Trials and now the Olympic Winter Games.
