There are things that occur in the very town that you live in. Sometimes if you didn’t know the person, who knew that person, who had the incident; you would never know what happened. During the Memorial Day weekend a ‘Small Group’ from “Impact Church” in Jacksonville, FL, gathered together to play board games and fellowship. One of the members told this small group about a family who had lost all their earthly possessions in a house fire.

Imagine waking up to the stench of smoke clogging your nostrils as flames rose to the ceiling in your home around 11:00 p.m. What if you weren’t feeling well, but decided to forgo taking a medication that would have relieved the pain but would have made you sleepy and slow to respond. This is what happened to a family of six on Wednesday May 21, 2014, on the Westside of Jacksonville Florida. A faulty ‘surge protector’ is what caused the extensive damage to the home of Steve and Wanda Lee on that date.

One of the many Impact Church’s Small Groups wanted to make a difference in the lives of the Lee family. The small group was able to show others, whom they didn’t know, a glimpse of who Jesus really is, here on earth. We thank God that the Lee family is covered by Home Owner's Insurance. The family is in the process of looking for a 4 bedroom/3bath house to rent until the insurance company starts the process of getting their home rebuilt.

Stevie Lee Sr. is self-employed at “A-Primo Carpet & Upholstery Care” and his wife, Wanda is a customer service representative at JAX airport. The family has been tremendously blessed by First Coast Christian School where the children attend, by friends & relatives, by Wanda’s parents who live nearby and keep a vigil on the home; yet so much more is needed.

Mrs. Shirley Buch, from the Christian school, shared with this writer how Wanda had previously been a blessing to another family who had been burned-out of their home a few years ago. Wanda Lee and her family showed a good example of the ‘sewing and reaping’ principles that are in the Bible. You never know how God will make a way when there doesn’t seem to be any way out.

This story may not have been covered by the local news teams, but it still happened and we never know if or when something similar to this could happen to us or someone we may know. Don’t forget to view and listen to the Related Video at the left of this column to hear the rest of the miracles that this family experienced.

Thanks go out to Katina, Ivan Oliver and their children for allowing the ‘Christian Living Couples Small Group’ to be a blessing to the Lee family. After listening to Wanda Lee’s testimony on the Related Video, viewing the Slide Presentation above, and you desire to be a blessing to this family; donations may be made directly and securely to PayPal using this email, or into a VyStar Credit Union savings account under the name of ‘Stevie M. Lee’, Jacksonville, FL. You may also consider donating WalMart, PUBLIX, or any other “Gift Cards” to “The Lee Family” through First Coast Christian School. This is your chance to gather blessings for yourself, by being a blessing to someone else. #RandomActsOfKindness.

As of June 6, 2014, Wanda, Stevie and all four children are residing in a rental home in West Jacksonville, Florida. Psalm 37:4 (KJV) "Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." What the devil meant for evil, God will turn it around for the good.
