The unattached guys in Union J have been getting dating advice from none other than Danielle Peazer, the girlfriend of One Direction's Liam Payne. Union J came in fourth place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2012 One Direction came in third place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010 and is now the biggest worldwide act to emerge from "The X Factor." Union J and One Direction are both signed to Sony Music
According to an article published on Heat magazine's website on January 23, 2013, three of the four guys in Union J describe themselves as "single": George Shelley, 19; Jamie "JJ" Hamblett, 24; and Josh Cuthbert, 20.
Union J's Jaymi Hensley, 22, is openly gay and has been dating his boyfriend Olly Marmon since 2009.
Peazer has worked as a backup dancer for "The X Factor" U.K., which is how she and Payne met in 2010. She is going on "The X Factor" U.K 2013 tour, which launches February 26 in Manchester, England. Union J is among the seven "X Factor" U.K. contestant acts from 2012 that are on the tour.
Heat magazine reported: "Jaymi admitted they’ve been getting advice from Liam Payne’s girlfriend Danielle Peazer, who is a dancer on the tour. BUT when we chatted to her, she let slip that Josh 'kind of has a girlfriend' and JJ 'likes someone.'"
Could Cuthbert's "kind of girlfriend" be 16-year-old Ella Henderson? She came in sixth place on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2012, and she admitted to Look magazine in November 2012 that she wanted to date Cuthbert. Before she confessed to being attracted to Cuthbert, Henderson (who is also signed to Sony Music) was rumored to be romantically involved with Shelley, but they both told the media that they are "just friends."
Henderson and Cuthbert will be spending a lot of time together on "The X Factor" tour, so fans will have to wait and see if a romance will develop between the two singers.
Meanwhile, the respective debut albums (titles to be announced) of Union J and Henderson should be released before the end of 2013. Union J has mentioned in interviews and on Twitter that Union J has finished recording its debut single, whose title and release date are to be announced.
