On Friday we got the honor of receiving a copy of “Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Limited Edition” for PS3 and we are now here to share with you the contents of this special edition.

You can find images of the entire package in our media gallery located here.

Available for $149.99, the “Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Limited Edition” comes with a High-Frequency Plasma Lamp, Steelbook Collector’s Case, “Metal Gear Revengeance” Official Soundtrack, and a copy of “Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.”

The highlight of this package is without question the High-Frequency Plasma Lamp. Sheathed in the glass casing is Raiden’s sword which discharges an impressive lightning show.

The lamp has two settings: One being a standard lamp with a welcoming blue light; meanwhile the second is the high-frequency lightning that circles the sword and will follow your finger tip when pressed to the glass.

Raiden’s sword is nicely detailed and the build quality of the lamp is top-notch. This is definitely a piece you won’t mind showing off to friends or family. Find a video of the lamp in action here.

Also included is a Steelbook Collector’s Case which can house your copy of “Metal Gear Rising Revengeance” and the game’s soundtrack. The steelbook case is sturdy and a fine substitute to the regular box. Featuring art on both sides of the case and in the interior, “Metal Gear” fans will appreciate this Collector’s case.

All-in-all, those who pre-ordered a “Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Limited Edition” will be satisfied on Feb. 19 when they receive their copy.

Stay tuned for our full review of “Metal Gear Rising Revengeance” early next week.
