Two neutered, declawed male felines need a second chance

Like many other companion animals, these two young felines find themselves suddenly homeless due to a dissolving family. With the economic recession, many families feel the stress of multiple demands and sadly, abandon or release their animals. These two delightful littermates, age 2, are good sized young boys, active and playful, and very, very affectionate. They begin to purr when anyone enters their room, even if just to remain nearby.  They love looking out the window and feel safest with one another, so they should be placed together. They are currently located in the Arlington/Grand Prairie area.

Sibling kitty pair gets along well

Each animal has very bright white short fur which they seem to keep very clean. They are litter box trained and not at all fussy about what they eat - and as growing boys, they do eat! They are rambunctious and playful but also train easily. Since they have both been declawed, they will need an indoor only home for life in order to be safe. The orange kitty is tail-less, and the gray kitty has a stub (half) tail. They are amazingly athletic and graceful.

Ready to rehome, these Manx cats are easy to please

These boys love to play and snuggle. Most anything becomes instant entertainment, even a long piece of tissue paper or a string.  Purrs begin when anyone is nearby, and they seem to love children, too.  Someone invested quite a bit into these boys, since they have had neutering and declawing both done. They do not appear skittish around normal household noises such as a hairdryer, and their open, sweet nature would indicate that they were probably well loved when they had a home. They would do best with a person or family who wants indoor cats who are active, playful, and loving. They  have their own litter boxes and food bin; all they need now is the right family to love them!

Anyone interested in meeting these two or adopting may contact babs@animail.com for further information. There is no fee for adoption, but the adopting person will need to agree to good care and a stable home.
