'Twilight' stars visit children's hospital in support of 'Breaking Dawn' DVD (Photos)

To usher in this weekend's DVD and Blu-ray release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 in a unique and rather humanitarian way, Twilight's Cullen castmates - also people-friendly in the films - Peter Facinelli (Carlisle), Elizabeth Reaser (Esme Cullen), Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale) and Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale) visited the Los Angeles Children's Hospital on Friday night to treat patients to a special screening of the film in the facility's teen lounge, pass out copies of the movie and pose for pictures and sign autographs. The four also paid a visit to the rooms of those children who were unable to make it down to the viewing area.

Facinelli, Reaser and Reed were among those who visited the Children's Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana during production on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, so the trip was a nice bookend to that story.

Peter Facinelli, a long-time support of childhood cancer research efforts at Alex's Lemonade, told Yahoo! OMG, "I know a lot of these kids are going through a hard time and anything you can do to put a smile on their face or make their day better, gives them positive energy and keep fighting the good fight to get better."
