No, it's not Sangria. Adam Carolla, who with Jimmy Kimmell starred in "The Man Show," has his own wine cocktail concoction just released for the holiday season, Mangria.
It’s the ultimate guy’s gift for those men that are impossible to shop for. With 20.9% alcohol it has the real kick anyone needs in their drink. For only $15.95 a bottle, Mangria makes the perfect fortified wine gift for your dad/grandpa/brother/husband or any man in your life.
Combining red wine and the smooth sweet flavors and aromas of plum, cherry, blackberry, orange and citrus, Mangria tastes delicious and is great for any occasion from appetizers, to backyard barbeques, to midnight cocktails. It can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks, or with some O.J. I like to mix it with fruits like apples, citrus, grapes, pineapple and bananas and pretend I'm in Barcelona. If you want to pretend you're in the North Pole, you can serve it warm with some cinnamon sticks and cloves.
"As a nightly consumer of red wine, I was shocked one evening to find I had just half a glass left in the bottle. So I did what any decent alcoholic, ex-con, American would do... I went to the fridge and the liquor cabinet, then poured, mixed and measured. Thus Mangria was born," said Adam Carolla. “Then I started making batches for friends. I was going over to Jimmy Kimmel’s place for the Fourth of July and brought a batch with me. Like any organic invention or idea, I just started making it at home and enjoying it with friends and thought, ‘Hell, if I like it and my friends like it, some other people might like it too, so why don’t we start bottling and selling it’”.
