Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga on the popular 90’s show “Boy Meets World,” is now all grown up, which is evident in a sexy photo shoot she recently did for Maxim. The actress actually graces the cover of the latest edition wearing only a bra and panties loosely covered by a thin sweater, according to a March 8, 2013 Huffington Post report.
The actress will soon be back on the small screen with the Disney produced spin-off of her old show, “Girl Meets World.”
In the Maxim interview, Fishel, 31, spoke about how her “Boy Meets World” character was named. She said show creator Michael Jacobs was driving down the highway racking his brain as to what to call her when he drove past Topanga Canyon and the name was born.
She noted that Jacobs told her if he had waited two more miles to name her, she would have been called Canoga, the next freeway exit.
The actress expressed surprise and amazement as to how many parents named their daughter’s Topanga after her, reports CBS News.
Fishel also cleared up the rumor that she and her former co-star, Ben Savage, had once dated. She said the rumor began after she appeared on “The Tyra Banks Show” and revealed the two had been on a date.
“We went on one date, when I was about 15, and by the time the dinner was over we realized mutually that we were more like family than lovers,” she said, according to Hollywood Life.
