Update 6/4/14: Rescued by Furever Rescue!!

Beautiful, soulful and utterly terrified - Cecelia is so petrified at the Chicago Animal Care and Control in Ill., that she has to be carried because she refuses to walk.

Cecelia, identification #A109446, is among the many dogs who has been deemed "rescue only" at this facility - as such, she will only be released to one of the animal control's approved Homeward Bound rescue partners.

On Wednesday night, the CACC Transfer Team posted this update to their Facebook followers:

oh Cecilia....you are literally breaking my heart. I had to carry her EVERYWHERE. She would not walk She is heavy..she needs to be socialized..she is gorgeous and sweet and needs some TLC.. so sad.

Please take a moment to network Cecelia's information.
