Comedian Tom Arnold feels unstoppable after his incredible 100-pound weight loss on a low-carb diet.

"He's happily reached his 100-pound weight-loss goal," his rep told ABC News. "Tom went from 287 pounds to 187 pounds and is in the best shape of his life."

Arnold, who has been overweight much of his life, had an epiphany after his son Jax was born in April 2013. He realized he wanted to be around to see his son grow up, and immediately overhauled his diet and began working out.

The 6-foot-2 Tom has lost 100 pounds during the 11 months by following a low-carb diet, where he eliminated bread and sugar. He also did cardio, circuit-training and abdominal workouts for up to 90 minutes a day.

This isn’t a diet. I had to change my lifestyle because I want to be a father forever. Something inside of me changed [once my son was born]. I knew I needed to live as long as I could. The moment I saw [Jax] I realized he deserves the best."

Whereas Tom once wolfed down six-egg cheese omelets, six sausage links, and a massive bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, he's now content eating Greek yogurt with chia seeds and agave nectar first thing in the morning.

Arnold credits his wife, Ashley Groussman, for helping him stay motivated on his weight-loss journey. Tom said his depression had caused him to overeat in the past. The accompanying weight gain only made him feel worse about himself, and he hated how his size limited his lifestyle and wardrobe choices.

“I had to wear the same shirts over and over [because of my size],” he said. “I had to make sure they were clean if I was performing because only two shirts fit me. I just felt really bad about myself.”

After overcoming infertility struggles with wife and welcoming a healthy baby, Arnold is happier and healthier than ever. The best part of his weight loss is having the energy to keep up with his only child. "I have tons more energy to play with my son," he said.
