Mirroring the parade of mistresses that would come out of the woodwork on a daily basis following the Tiger Woods cheating scandal, stories about a potential reconciliation and remarriage between the fallen golfer and his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren continue to emerge.
According to a Saturday report by the National Enquirer, Woods and Nordegren are in fact back together and considering remarrying one another at their kids' request!
The Enquirer claims that their five-year-old daughter, Sam, begged her mommy to let her cheating ex-husband back in their home following last week's local sporting event in Florida.
"Tiger and Elin have been secretly discussing getting back together for several weeks," said a source. "The final straw came when Sam begged Elin, 'Please, Mommy, marry Daddy again! I want him home with us all the time!'"
The source claims that Sam's request "touched Elin's heart" and "since then, she's spent the night at Tiger's house several times, but they're taking it slow," because "Elin wants to ease back into the relationship before she walks down the aisle with Tiger again."
The story also gets into some specifics about their lifestyle following Woods' cheating scandal in 2009 and their subsequent divorce the following year.
"After that, Elin refused to even look at Tiger, saying the sight of him made her sick," added the source. "Nannies and bodyguards delivered their two kids back and forth for visitation. But Tiger has never given up trying to win Elin back, and eventually, she softened enough to speak with him."
Finally, The Enquirer's informant also claims that reports indicating that Woods made Nordegren a ($200 million) proposal to remarry him were legitimate. Also true was the Swedish beauty's counter-offer to have Woods sign a steep $350 no-cheat prenup as part of the deal.
"Instead of crushing Tiger's hopes, Elin's offer rekindled them," said the source. "For the first time, he began to believe there was a real possibility that Elin might take him back."
