"The Walking Dead" rap pits two of AMC's most popular men against each other in an epic lyrical onslaught. Rick Grimes spits rhymes that would make a walker's jaw drop off in shock, and Walter White's words are so full of hurt that you'll need one of those yellow hazmat suits to protect yourself from the vitriolic verse.
According to a May 5 report by Mashable, the zombie-shanking sheriff from "The Walking Dead" and the master meth maker from "Breaking Bad" are the latest fictional characters to face off in an Epic Rap Battle of History on YouTube. Unfortunately, Andrew Lincoln and Bryan Cranston don't portray Rick and Walter – instead they're played by Nice Peter and EpicLLOYD.
"You tore your family apart sin by sin. Where I live it happens literally limb from limb," Rick Grimes raps in the video. Walter White counters with this line: "You don't wanna face off against me. I'll stuff you in a barrel and make a dude smoothie." Walter definitely wins that round by threatening to turn Rick into a nutritious zombie breakfast.
"Carl, you stay back with the others. I'll finish this b*tch like you finished your mother," Rick fires back. But then Walter delivers the death blow with this rhyme: "I'll bury you faster than your partner stole your whole life. No one saw Shane coming, except for your wife." Now that a Lori hallucination is haunting Rick, he's going to become walker brunch for sure.
You can check out the entire "The Walking Dead" rap above and ponder this interesting question: Would Walter White or Rick Grimes win if they were both zombie apocalypse kingpins? Walter could get a group of people hooked on meth so that they'd have to obey him in order to get their fix, but it's probably not a good idea to rely an army of drug addicts – they could end up being more dangerous than the walkers.
A man of the law like Rick would definitely do everything he could to take down a criminal like Walter, but he might underestimate the power of a group of people on meth – they might pull a Rick by using their own teeth to rip out the throats of the sheriff's crew. Unfortunately for Walter, his army wouldn't last long – they'd start to resemble the walkers when their teeth fall out and they start picking their own skin off (mmm… zombie cornflakes).
Who do you think won "The Walking Dead" rap battle? And do you think that Walter White would outlast Rick Grimes if he was fighting zombies instead of cancer? Maybe the Epic Rap Battle of History guys should have Josh McDermitt's "Mad Men" and "The Walking Dead" characters face off against each other next.
