The first screens and details have been revealed on Jan. 23 through YouTube in regards to the just-announced high-definition remake for the Nintendo Wii U, “The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.” The new images show off the enhanced cel-shaded graphics from the new version. You can check out the screens in the slideshow at the top of this article. In addition to the improved visuals, Nintendo also revealed some gameplay information for the action-adventure title such as the Wii U GamePad and Miiverse support as well as additional changes to the original version. “The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker,” which was developed by Nintendo EAD and was published by Nintendo, was first released for the Nintendo Gamecube on March 24, 2003. The game marked a radical departure for the series at that particular period as it feature a controversial unique cartoon-like look as oppose to a more mature style in addition to the added sailing element.
