The inspired life (Photos)

The inspired life, Unleashing Your Mind’s Capacity For Joy by Susyn Reeve with Joan Breiner, is a recommended read. If you’re working to improve your wellbeing, this books offers valuable insight.

I greatly benefited by the education they provided in the section, Your Brain And Your Thoughts. They’ve gathered scientific explanations and present them in an easy read flow.

Here’s an insert from this section:

“The brain is made up of cells called neurons. These cells have nerve endings called synapses and dendrites. Nerve endings release chemical and electrical stimuli to communicate with each other. This communication forms neural-pathways in the brain and is the basis for how the brain works. For every thought you have there is a corresponding communication between the neurons in your brain. When you initially learn something, the pathway is weak. Neuro-pathways that are habitually used are the ‘path well traveled.’ It is easy for your mind to follow these pathways, they become dominant and automatic thoughts and beliefs, which then generate your feelings.”

The book goes on to say that you can create new pathways (thoughts) and then reinforce them with feelings and action to strengthen them into familiar and healthy paths (new routines). Yes, this means you can re-train your thoughts, feelings and actions to lead a more inspired life!

It is probable you’ve known this but the explanation helps fuel the intention for change.

Many points in the book resonated with me. I loved the detail communicated relevant to forgiving yourself and others. They offered this in basic word layout, “For Giving Love.” When the word forgiving is pulled apart, it offers a simple and meaningful message.

This 222-page, soft cover, Viva Editions book is an asset to your arsenal of life tools. Go out and pick one up ASAP!
