The Dec. 29 episode of "Finding Bigfoot" on Animal Planet was a two-hour special filmed in Nepal. The scenery was exotic, but the topography seemed exhausting even to the viewer who watched the team trek the step and perilous terrain in search of a Yeti, a smaller version of a Bigfoot. The show began with an interesting visit to a monastery that allowed them to examine a famous hand that they have archived that allegedly belonged to a Yeti, although the extensive testing indicated it was a human hand, albeit extremely large.
Fans of this unique program probably wish they had named it something else besides, “Finding Bigfoot” because they haven’t found one yet. Family members and friends love to remind their “Finding Bigfoot” fan of this fact in the most comical ways.
The trip to Nepal resulted in a few discoveries of possible evidence, but unaccompanied by any other “action,” the finds don’t mean quite as much.
