The Doors Weird Scenes Inside the Goldmine now available for pre-ordering

On Record Store Day The Doors’ re-released “Weird Scenes Inside the Goldmine” and sold out the amber colored, translucent disc. It was announced that Rhino Records would also would be issuing a two disc CD edition of “Weird Scenes” that would be released on May 19th (a day short of the first anniversary of Ray Manzarek’s death).

“Weird Scenes” was the first anthology album released by Elektra Records in 1972. It includes songs that span The Doors entire career and record catalog, and includes the b-sides of “Who Scared You” which was the b-side of “Wishful Sinful” and “You Need Meat (Don’t Go No Further)” which was the b-side of “Love Her Madly.”

Pre-ordering for the CD has gone live on several websites you can now pre-order “Weird Scenes” at Amazon, Amazon UK, The Doors website, and a German site JPC (Jazz Pop Classic), and the price is just under $20 in U.S. dollars.
