The Best Christian Music for Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's Day, and should a romantic evening or Valentine's party be part of your Valentine festivities, I thought I would help you plan your playlist! It should come as no surprise to discover that gospel artists like Amy Grant, Chris Rice, Avalon, Selah, FFH, Sixpence None the Richer, Steve Green, Noel Paul Stookey, Debbie Boone and others been recording some of the sweetest and tenderest love songs for decades.

Many of these artists are from Nashville, and the majority of the songs were recorded in Nashville or have a Nashville-based distributor. While some of these songs have made it over to mainstream radio, many of them remain undiscovered jewels.

Recently I have compiled two lists of some of the finest Christian love songs for Valentine's Day, weddings and other special occasions. One list is my favorite Christian love songs of all time; the other lists is of gospel love songs recorded during the last decade. You will find a few songs on both lists, but for the most part, these are two separate lists with songs that should definitely appear on your Valentine's music playlist.
