An El Paso, Tex. man has been arrested and accused of having sex with a minor child, after promising the girl he could make her an adult film star, according to a Jan. 13, 2013 Houston Chronicle report.
West Tex. authorities say Jacob Alejandro Martinez, 23, lured the girl by posting an ad on Craigslist, hoping he could recruit females who wanted to appear in pornographic movies.The underage girl contacted Martinez and eventually the two met and had sex.
KFOXTV reports the two were in contact with one another from Oct. 29, 2012 to Nov. 25, according to police.
Martinez was arrested on Jan. 10, 2013, and is charged with sexual performance by a child and a probation violation, according to the Chronicle.
His bond is set at $50,000.
Authorities say the Craigslist ad has now been removed, but they are asking that anyone who may have been in contact with Martinez to call police at 915-832-4400.
