A terror group associated with al-Nusra entered the district of Tal Abyad with murderous intentions and butchered 450 civilians on Monday. Tal Abyad is in Syria's northern district. The terrorists slaughtered 330 men and women There were also 120 children among those killed.

Tal Abyad is north of Al-Raqqa and is heavily populated with Kurds. That region is still reeling from numerous attacks that happened several weeks ago. Yesterday's attacks were perpetrated by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Al-Nursa also participated in the vicious attacks on Tal Abyad.

AlaAlam reports that "deadly clashes have been going on in the region as Kurds gathered volunteer fighters and started to stand against terrorists." Kurds in Aleppo have come under attack as well. There were attacks in Tall `Aran and Tall Hasel. Many were killed, abducted or evicted from their homes when the terrorists attacked.

The report says videos were posted online showing dead women and children ruthlessly butchered by radical terrorists in the above mentioned attack. A Google search for these videos confirming this report could not be found. It's possible the videos have been scrubbed from the internet.

A video report on PRESSTV shows terrorists pouring a flammable liquid on three men and then pushing them into a fire. (Warning if you watch the video it's graphic.) According to PRESSTV, the video could not be independently verified as to it's authenticity.

The al-Alam report also says:

Residents said the brutal attack on their homes reminded them of the Kurdish genocide, called al-Anfal Campaign, committed by slain Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in the late 1980s.

Attacks in Syria are on the rise in the last month, according to the report. It appears; there is no end in sight for the two-year civil war that's ripped Syria apart. The U.S. government is said to have boosted both political and military support to extremists. Our "leaders" continue to ignore Russia's warning against arming the terrorists in Syria.

Another report on PRESSTV alleges the al-Nusra Front leader is a CIA operative. This is conjecture regarding that claim, but it is very possible there's truth to the allegations. The man making the accusations is Sheikh Naiim, a former al-Qaeda who ran a training camp in Egypt. He said in the PRESSTV report the following:

I personally believe that the leader of the Nusra Army who declared his support for Ayman al-Zawahiri is a CIA operative.

He also said various militant groups in Syria are fighting a war on behalf of U.S. interests "to reap their own benefits from the crisis in Syria. If there is truth in the claim it wouldn't really be surprising since it's known the CIA uses militants as operatives.

DCE commentary

How can someone ruthlessly murder 120 children? It shouldn't matter what nation they were born into; the bottom line is they're innocent children. Psalm 127:3, says, "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward." No doubt God is grieved by the murder of these children, or any child for that matter.

One-day, God will require an accounting from those who consider children as disposable. Those who kill children have a blackness in their hearts, they are pure evil. The following is what Jeremiah 17:9 shows about the evil that is in a man's heart. It says, "The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?"

As long as mankind continues in their own arrogance an ever-increasing darkness will engulf the world. This darkness will cause the earth to be mournful and eventually there will come a day when God will bring judgment upon the wickedness of mankind. He will require a price to be paid for the evil that men do.

The word of God is very clear about why darkness abounds upon the earth. This is found in Psalm 107:10-11 and it says, "Those who sat in darkness and in the shadow of death,
Bound in affliction and irons—Because they rebelled against the words of God, And despised the counsel of the Most High."

Despite the wickedness that seems to reign in this world there's hope. It's found in Christ, he paid the price for the sins of mankind. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life."

All it takes to receive the hope that God offers is doing what 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
