Teen Mom” star Farrah Abraham keeps saying that her relationship with Orlando DJ Brian Dawe was real, even though he has revealed that he did it all for publicity. He got to get his name in the press and a hefty paycheck, so Farrah could get on the show with a partner. She has been filming the show on her own, but her ex-boyfriend from “Teen Mom” will make an appearance later this season. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Feb. 11, “Teen Mom” star Farrah Abraham is now revealing that her DJ boyfriend didn’t come on the show, “Couples Therapy” because he had a mental breakdown.

“I was told repeatedly, ‘We want Brian to show up,’ ‘We’re trying to get him to come here,’ and ‘He had a mental breakdown and maybe he would show up later,’” she explained. “But as time progressed it was like, he’s really not showing up." It is unclear why Brian would have a mental breakdown. He has been pretty open and honest about getting paid to act as her boyfriend during the time of casting.

"What I’ve learned was money and a lot of things that I have the opportunities to do, lots of men that I date can not handle that and they have a lot of insecurities,” she says. “So I tend to choose people who are very insecure because when I was younger, I was very insecure and I relate to that.” It sounds like she thinks he may have been intimated by her success.
