Best Buy is back Saturday, April 26 with another Deal of the Day featuring a video game. While “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U was the focus of yesterday’s deal, “Tearaway” for the PS Vita gets the big discount today.

Tearaway” is available for $14.99 from Best Buy for Saturday only. That’s $25.00 off the regular $39.99 price. Free shipping is available but only on orders of $25 or more. You can opt for free in-store pickup though. State sales tax is applicable.

The game from Media Molecule, the creators of “LittleBigPlanet”, and is a third-person platformer with a papercraft theme. It is also one of the few games for the PS Vita that makes full use of the handheld’s different features in useful and entertaining ways. Both the front and rear touch screens can be used to manipulate the environment while the front camera is used to bring you into the game as the sun. Meanwhile, the rear camera can be used to take pictures of and bring them into the game and even the accelerometer gets some clever use as well later in the game.

“Tearaway” is about a messenger seeking to deliver a unique message to you, the player. Players can choose between a male character named Iota or the female character, Atoi. They can then use the various inputs hooks of the PS Vita to navigate the game world and deliver the message.

Saturday is also the last day to get many of the deals of the week at Best Buy before they refresh tomorrow. This includes “Call of Duty: Ghosts” for the PS4 and Xbox One at $49.99 with the “Onslaught” DLC for free while the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions are $39.99. “Batman: Arkham Origins”, “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist” and “Just Dance 2014” all marked down to $24.99 as well.
