Based on Hasbro's "My Little Pony" toy franchise, The HUB Network's animated series "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" has gone from a children's cartoon to sell Hasbro toys to pop culture phenomenon appealing to children and adults alike. As "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" is scheduled to conclude its fourth season on May 10, The HUB Network will hold an online press conference with voice actress Tara Strong (Twilight Sparkle) and co-executive producer & story editor Meghan McCarthy this Tuesday on May 6 starting at 5:30pm PT.
Dubbed “The HUB Network's What's the Hubbub?”, this online press conference will stream live on YouTube and “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” fans can watch as Tara Strong and Meghan McCarthy answer various questions about the production of the show; the challenges Tara Strong may have when portraying Twilight Sparkle; future plans for the show & “Equestria Girls” film franchise; and a bit about the creative process between the writing team, the voice acting team, and perhaps the Hasbro toy line.
As an Animation Examiner of Examiner.com, I will be part of the press who will be interviewing Tara Strong and Meghan McCarthy during this volume of The HUB Network's What's the Hubbub?” In addition to my own questions, I am open to hearing what you “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” fans would like to ask.
Whether you missed your chance to ask Tara Strong or Meghan McCarthy a question during the recent “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic:” themed convention BABSCon, or just have a pressing question about Hasbro and The HUB Network, this will be a good chance to get your answers. Please comment below with what questions you have. If time permits and it sounds reasonable (aka: no questions about spoilers), I'll have it asked for you. You can check out the embedded YouTube link on May 6 to watch the press conference live from wherever you watch YouTube videos.
And be sure to watch “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” on The HUB Network (check local listings).
